*****Geroy Simon is currently playing in his eleventh season in the CFL, his ninth with the BC Lions.
The Lions are 3-5 on the season and Geroy has 27 receptions for 395 yards and 3 touchdowns. BC hosts Montreal Friday
night.
*****LaRod Stephens-Howling was drafted in the seventh round by the Arizona Cardinals and he has been
making an impact thus far in training camp and the exhibition season. Arizona has played in three preseason games to
this point, first they lost 20-10 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In that contest, he had six carries for 24 yards and 1
reception for a loss of three. He also made a special teams tackle. In a 17-6 loss to San Diego, LaRod carried
six times for six yards and had 1 reception for two yards. In that contest, he made his mark more on special teams,
returning two kickoffs for 152 yards. Finally in a 44-37 loss to Green Bay, he had three carries for 17 yards, 1 reception
for 8 yards and made a special teams tackle. The Cardinals' final preseason game is Thursday at Denver.

Reed is entering his sophomore year at Pitt. Last year he got valuable playing time experience in nine games.
This year he is battling for a job as a CB and may get a lot of time in nickel packages as well as special teams. Pitt
opens up Saturday at home against Youngstown State.
*****Josh Miller is entering his senior season at IUP.
The Crimson Hawks are 1-0 after defeating Southern Connecticut 28-21 last weekend. Josh got into the game according
to the participation report, however, he didn't record any stats. IUP hosts C.W. Post this Saturday.

Morrison is entering his junior year at Lock Haven. They are 0-1 after losing 43-0 to West Chester in their opener
last weekend. Morrison started at CB in the loss and made five tackles. The Bald Eagles will play next at Shippensburg
on 9/12.
*****Ben Landis and Demetrius Young are entering their junior and sophomore years respectively
at Fairmont State. The Fighting Falcons lost their opener to Clarion 33-21. Landis didn't get in the game while
Young did but recorded no stats. The Falcons are at Lake Erie this Saturday.

catches for 128 yards and one touchdown in the win. This pushes his season totals to 38 catches for 563 yards and 4
TDs. The Lions host Toronto this Saturday.

their season-opener to the San Francisco 49ers 20-16. Stephens-Howling had 3 kickoff returns for 62 yards and made one
special teams tackles. The Cards are at Jacksonville this Saturday.

defeated Buffalo 54-27 and in that effort, Antwuan Reed had one tackle. The Panthers, now 2-0, host Navy this Saturday
